Clinton Parks & Recreation offers financial aid for eligible families based on household income and need. Applications are reviewed confidentially and on a rolling basis. Aid amounts vary depending on funding and program availability.

Financial Assistance Eligibility Guidelines:
To qualify for need-based financial aid through Clinton Parks & Recreation, families must:
- Be residents of Clinton, MA (unless otherwise stated).
- Meet income eligibility guidelines based on household size.
- Submit a completed financial aid application with supporting documents.
- Demonstrate financial need through income, benefits received, or extenuating circumstances.
Families may be asked to provide one or more of the following:
- Most recent federal tax return
- Two most recent pay stubs for all working household members
- Proof of assistance (SNAP, WIC, housing, etc.)
- Documentation of extenuating financial circumstances (e.g. recent job loss, medical bills)
How Awards Are Determined:
- Financial aid is awarded based on available funding, number of applicants, and level of demonstrated need.
- Aid amounts may cover partial program fees. Full scholarships are rare and granted only in exceptional cases.
- Families are typically expected to contribute a portion of the total program fee.
When to Apply
- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis but must be submitted at least 30 days before the program start date.
- Summer programming financial aid applications are typically due by April 1st.
- Late applications will be considered only if funding remains.
- Due to later funding approval, 2025 applications for Summer will be accepted on a rolling basis without a hard deadline.
Additional Guidelines
- Submitting an application does not guarantee aid.
- Aid is not transferable between programs or participants.
- All applications are kept confidential and reviewed by Clinton Parks & Recreation staff only.
- Families must reapply for each new season or program (aid does not carry over automatically).
- Participants must maintain regular attendance and follow program rules to remain eligible, and future can be revoked at any time due to a lack of attendance.

- Upload or drop off your documentation.
- Wait for a confirmation email or phone call (typically within 5–7 business days).
